I finally got a chance to get close enough to get a shot of these Blad Eagles.  Usually, I am too far away to get a decent shot, this one is ok, but I would love to get get much closer.  Rarely, when I see them are they this close together.  They are usally in separate trees, some ways apart.  I think that is so they can watch out for and protect each other.  Maybe it is close to mating season.  For those that don’t know, eagles mate for life.  Watching them and their pose, it is easy to see why they were chosen as our national symbol instead of the wild turkey, like Ben Franklin suggested.  I will continue to watch them each morning, and hopefully someday get a great shot!
